  • The research work I developed during my Ph.D. studies was instrumental to attract one of the biggest donations in the History of Cardiovascular Nanotechnology. The donation was attracted by my Ph.D. mentors Dr. Mauro Ferrari and Dr. Guillermo Torre-Amione, and it was used to create The George and Angelina Kostas Research Center for Cardiovascular Nanomedicine at Houston Methodist Hospital.
