Carolina Elizondo

My name is Carolina Elizondo, I’m from Monterrey, Mexico and I’m studying my Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology Engineering. I have always been interested in research, so I have participated in many projects in the FEMSA Biotechnology Center. I have been part of the iGEM competition for 3 years and I have a special interest in synthetic biology and medical research, especially in molecular diagnostics.

I love running, cooking and to participate in social projects. I will be working as an intern at the Molecular Nanosystems group, which I consider a great opportunity for enriching my academic and personal development. Please feel free to contact me at m.caro.elizondo@gmail.com

Erika Lopez

I am Erika Lopez and I was born in Puebla, Mexico. I am studying nanotechnology and Chemical Sciences. I am going to be working on the Molecular Nanosystems group for the next six months. I have experience in Micro and nano fabrication and I have been working at the Water Center For Latin America and the Caribbean on an enzyme project. I am really interested in learning nanotechnology applications and I am looking forward to learn from all the people in the lab. I am sure I am going to expand my knowledge and laboratory abilities in this experience. I want to get new ideas for projects that can help our community.
